Learning Objectives:

• Identify the correct biopsy code(s) based on approach and imaging guidance used
• Know what codes to report for placement of lesion/tumor markers and for delivery of radiotherapy
• Determine codes for mastectomy based on amount of tissue removed, lymph nodes resected and involvement of pectoral muscles
• How is the sentinel node identified and what is the code determination for excision
• Navigating the correct codes for each stage of breast reconstruction
• Identify when and how to use the appropriate modifiers
