Surgical and Procedural Code Updates for 2025
• 8 new codes Skin Cell Suspension Autografts for use with or as an alternative to skin grafts
• In the musculoskeletal section, 1 new code for a tendon suspension sling procedure and revision in language to an arthroplasty code
• The cardiovascular section has several deleted codes and the revision in language for the obliteration of aortopulmonary defect
• There are 4 new codes involving cellular gene therapy for collection, preparation and administration for treatment
• The surgery section brings 5 new codes for the excision or destruction of intra-abdominal tumors
• The urinary system has 3 new codes involving the prostate 
• And 2 additional codes in the male genital system also for the prostate reported by the Radiologist
• The female genital system has the deletion of a single code and revision to the language of another code
• There are 2 new codes in the endocrine section for ablation of the thyroid
• An intracranial stereotactic ablation code has been added to the nervous system, as well as 6 new codes for plane blocks for pain management
• The eye has a new implant code
• The medicine section has a revision, 3 additions, and a deleted code for cerebral arterial studies
