This session will explore coding for various Head and neck procedures, including thyroid procedures, neck dissections, glossectomies, thyroid nodules, and more. We will discuss coding issues and provide tips for successfully coding these services.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to (at least 3)
• Review typical head and neck procedures.
• Learn about when to code neck dissections with head and neck procedures
• Understand coding guidelines in relation to these complex procedures
• Use surgery coding that meets CPT rules and government regulations for commonly performed procedures.
